CUNY Academic Testing Coordinator - CUNY School of Medicine in New York, New York
The CUNY School of Medicine’s Academic Testing Coordinator will assist with test administration for the School’s examination process and arrange for course materials, information, and proctoring services to be delivered in a timely fashion. Reporting to the Director of Course Administration, this position will work closely with various campus stakeholders (course directors, faculty, students, IT staff) and support the School’s academic activities.
Additional duties include the following:
Schedule and reserve testing locations to meet course directors' and faculty members' requirements.
Coordinate with School and campus-wide IT staff for required computer and technology updates as required for test guidelines.
Work with LAN School Software and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to provide a secure testing environment.
Perform item analysis for examinations in various management systems.
Serve as Chief Proctor for the National Board of Medical Examiners, ordering exams and proctoring other examinations.
Provide information about examinations, instructions, and materials as requested by students and faculty.
Support the Office of Course Administration, which serves School of Medicine (B.S./M.D.) and P.A. Program courses.
Bachelor’s degree required and experience with IT and/or academic technology strongly preferred. Experience working in academic support and testing environments preferred. The successful candidate will have experience working with multiple priorities and deadlines, and be able to deliver high-level customer service to faculty, staff, and students.

Provides administrative support related to a College's academic testing function.
Participates in the planning, scheduling and administration of a variety of academic tests required by CUNY and/or the College
Assists with the implementation of test security protocols; arranges for the prompt scoring of all administered tests
Establishes and maintains test files, databases and records; prepares activity reports and analyses
Serves as office technology liaison with other campus offices to facilitate testing operations
Recruits and trains test proctors
May prepare, distribute, collect and scan student faculty evaluations
May supervise part-time and clerical staff and/or monitor department budget
Performs related duties as assigned.
