FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Hunter College is seeking a Lecturer (Doctoral Schedule) to perform teaching, and related faculty functions in Accounting, along with supervising and overseeing a new certificate program in business for liberal arts majors. Position also involves college and departmental service responsibilities.
The candidate is expected to have a Doctoral degree in area(s) of expertise, job experience and the ability to teach successfully. Candidates with a degree in Accounting, significant job experience, and/or current CPA designation are preferred but not required. Evidence of teaching skills and ability (college level), and advanced communication skills are required. Teaching experience in wide range of areas in accounting is desirable. Ability and interest in supervising and overseeing a new certificate program in business for liberal arts majors preferred.
