CUNY Lecturer (Doctoral Schedule) - Mathematics and Statistics in New York, New York


The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Hunter College invites applications for a position beginning in the Fall 2017, at the rank of Doctoral Lecturer. The primary responsibility will be to work with the existing faculty on the teaching, coordination and assessment of our multi-section introductory courses. The department offers undergraduate degrees in mathematics and statistics and masters degrees in mathematics, statistics and applied mathematics, and mathematics education. Hunter College is a senior college in the City University of New York.


Ph.D. in mathematics or mathematics education is required. The position also requires strong undergraduate teaching skills and a demonstrated commitment to curriculum development.
