The mathematics department invites applications for an anticipated Lecturer position beginning September 2017. The position will include both administrative and instructional responsibilities, including the teaching of college level freshman and sophomore classes as well as upper level courses; student advisement; course development; preparation of statistical assessments, reviews and collaborative learning activities; projects supporting course and professional development; reviewing and implementing innovative methodologies, teaching strategies and delivery methods; planning and developing a variety of teaching methods and materials to assists students in collaborative learning; and meeting course objectives, evaluating, and developing student learning materials as well as and participating in college related activities.


Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. College level teaching experience; demonstrated involvement in curriculum development and experience developing innovative learning materials; demonstrated innovation in the classroom, and implementation of creative and engaging teaching strategies, including the "flipped classroom," hybrid and online courses.
