The Student Life Manager for Student Conduct and Academic Integrity will assist the Dean with student judicial administration as it relates to the effective delivery of counseling, advising and facilitation of student grievance procedures including the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity. Duties of this position are to:

  • Investigate and adjudicate alleged violations of the University and College Academic Integrity Policies by students.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of relevant higher education regulations that impact student conduct including, but not limited to, FERPA, Title IX, Clery Act, and VAWA.

  • Guide, direct and/or conduct fact finding investigations on behalf of the College.

  • Compile and submit reports on student hearings and complaints.

  • Develop sanctions which promote personal and educational development and maintain College Standards.

  • Collaborate in developing programs, activities and workshops that will promote positive and responsible student conduct.

  • Manage investigations of violations of the College's Academic Integrity Policy.

  • Develop educational programs focusing on academic integrity.

  • Administer hearings presented to the Faculty/Student Disciplinary Committee.

  • Identify, evaluate and report on campus national trends and issues within student discipline and work collaboratively with other departments to respond to the findings.

  • Create, manage and monitor a secure and confidential database on student discipline cases including judicial hearings and resolutions.

  • Maintain and update all student consumer information as related to Student Affairs.

  • Serve on the Behavioral Intervention Team.

  • Support major college-wide events such as commencement, orientation, registration and honors convocation.

  • Participate in campus-wide retention and persistence outreach and activities.

  • Perform other duties assigned by the Dean.


Bachelor's degree and six years related experience required.

  • Master's degree in student personnel administration, higher education or a related field.

  • Knowledge of CUNY policies, procedures and regulations are highly preferred.

  • At least four (4) years professional experience in University Judicial Affairs preferred.

  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, project management, analytical, and conflict management skills and ability to balance numerous demands, evaluate competing priorities and adjust planning as needed.

  • Demonstrate commitment, understanding and sensitivity to the cultural, social and educational needs of a diverse student body with diverse values and priorities.

  • Experience and/or training in forms of conflict resolution include coaching, mediation, negotiation, facilitated dialogues, and restorative justice.

  • Demonstrated ability of establishing and maintaining effective cooperative working relationships with students, faculty, and staff, parents, system-wide colleagues, and community partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to work on sensitive, confidential, and complicated issues with discretion.

  • Experience using assessment and data as a part of decision making.

  • Successful implementation of student programs for a diverse student population and evidence of successful college-wide collaborations preferred.

  • Be a creative, dynamic individual with demonstrated examples of balanced and superior judgment, who can work independently and under general supervision to provide courteous and accurate customer service to all students, visitors and campus community.

  • Willingness to work evening hours and weekends as necessary.


Manages the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of student programs and quality of life issues, promoting the personal development of a diverse student population.

  • Evaluates student needs and trends to develop a range of student services

  • Develops and administers specific programs and general activities in support of student needs

  • Develops relationships with college departments and outside community organizations to understand student needs and available development opportunities

  • Represents the College in campus-wide and university-wide groups and councils focusing on priority student issues

  • Manages staff, fiscal resources, and facilities supporting student affairs activities

  • Performs related duties as assigned.
