FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The multidisciplinary Social Science Department is seeking an anthropologist with college teaching experience in Cultural Anthropology for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will teach Introduction to Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, Urban Anthropology and other courses. Faculty members are expected to engage in professional development, research, and scholarly activities, and to perform guidance duties in the specific area of expertise. They will also share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
