FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Biological Sciences at Bronx Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for a variety of Medical Laboratory Technology courses including Immunology/Serology, Clinical Chemistry and Diagnostic Microbiology and Parasitology for the spring 2023 semester (1/25/2023)
Day, evening and weekend teaching may be required

QUALIFICATIONS
Lecturer: Bachelor's Degree in Medical (Laboratory) Science or higher, N.Y.S.Clinical Laboratory Technologist license AND/OR current American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification at the MLS or MT level and a minimum of 2 years direct experience in the field. Master's degree and experience in clinical Chemistry or microbiology or parasitology preferred.
Assistant Professor Master's Degree in Medical (Laboratory) Science or higher, N.Y.S. Clinical Laboratory Technologist license AND/OR current American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP certification at the MLS or MT level and a minimum of 2 years direct experience in the field. Experience in clinical chemistry or Microbiology or parasitology preferred
Degree in MLT/MLS (minimum) andor experience in a clinmical laboratory preferred
COMPENSATION
Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67-98.40 per hour
Adjunct Assistant Professor $100-$106.41 per hour
