CUNY Admissions Advisor - Graduate Admissions in Bronx, New York

POSITION DETAILS

This position reports to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment at Lehman College. Responsibilities include coordination and support of on- and off-campus admissions events; communication with prospective students, applicants, and admitted students; and informing students about the admissions process, academic programs, and other related services.

Additional duties:

  • Coordinate graduate admissions communications and marketing including updating website content and marketing materials. Communicate with prospective students, applicants, and current students via email and text message regarding the application, admissions, and enrollment processes.

  • Coordinate graduate recruitment including representing Lehman College both on- and off-campus to prospective students. Organize and implement on-campus graduate admissions events including open houses and information sessions (in-person and virtual). Provide pre-admissions and one-to-one admissions counseling for applicants. Provide telephone counseling and assist with high volume phone calls.

  • Assist with managing Campus Management Connect (CRM) and ApplyYourself (online graduate application) including updating ApplyYourself decision letters. Maintain and update communication plan(s). Coordinate and organize registration for events. Generate admissions’ reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required. At least one year of admissions advising and outreach experience or equivalent preferred.

Salary commensurate with education and experience; $39,282 - $48,210
