FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

Teaches courses in health including dietetics and nutrition, substance abuse, community health public health and other health related courses. Additional responsibilities include engagement in scholarly work, student advisement, student outreach, active involvement in recruitment, and marketing efforts for the department programs. Shares responsibility for college committees and departmental assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions of the department. The position is set to begin in Spring of 2024 or later.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalency in Nutrition, Public Health, Health policy, Health Administration, or related fields. Registered dietitian license a plus.

Preferred: The ability to teach successfully in a college environment, demonstrated record of grant writing and scholarly activities, knowledge of curriculum development, understanding of subject level/program level assessment, innovative teaching methods, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. The candidate must possess strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills.

COMPENSATION

Assistant Professor - $52,267-$90,375
