CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Performs highly-skilled functions and other technical duties in support of the Physical Education courses.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Sets up, maintains, and organizes instructional activity areas. Maintains required documentation related to areas and equipment.
Assists students with using fitness equipment and provides information on healthy lifestyle activities.
Assists faculty with classroom instructional technology (PowerPoint, videos, etc.).
Hours: Monday to Thursday 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Fridays 9 am - 5 pm.
High School Diploma with a minimum of four years' related experience. Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years experience.
A.S. Degree in related field such as exercise science, recreation or health
Personal Training Certification
CPR and First Aid Certification
Computer knowledge and technology experience
Water safety instructor or lifeguard training a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills
$40,627 - $60,561; salary commensurate with education and experience.
