Lehman College, CUNY seeks an Enrollment Registrar Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Registrar, the candidate will assist with daily administration of the One-Stop Center.

This position requires thorough knowledge of the enrollment processes in CUNYfirst for all active students, alumni and special programs. This individual will be part of the transfer students’ enrollment process. During this time, the candidate will provide support to students and others on how to enroll in CUNYfirst and how to access their audits and the Student Educational Planner (SEP) in DegreeWorks.

In addition, the candidate will be processing approved iDeclare requests in CUNYfirst as well as remove the major holds from students’ records to secure a seamless registration for them.

The candidate should possess the following skill sets to manage the daily activities at the One-Stop:

  • On a daily basis, ensure staff is in place at the front counter.

  • Triage, if required, any issues which arise at the counter.

  • Train new support staff on counter customer service activities.

  • Ensure all resources (trifolds, forms, counter and copier supplies), as well as the student terminals are maintained.

  • Assist with creating and maintaining all degree maps.

  • Assist the Master Scriber with the Student Educational Planner (SEP) configuration.

  • Serve as a supporting role to the Graduation Specialists Team.

  • Provide navigational guidance to students on how to enroll in CUNYfirst and access their audits in DegreeWorks.

  • Collaborate with Financial Aid to provide Federal Work Study student coverage and supervision.


Bachelor's Degree required. Knowledge of the CUNYfirst enrollment processes and DegreeWorks preferred.


Provides operational support for registration operations.

  • Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements

  • Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures

  • Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas

  • Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories

  • Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

  • Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems

  • May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases

  • May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials

  • Performs related duties as assigned.
