FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Art at Kingsborough Community College is seeking candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Art History for majors and non-majors. Candidates who have experience teaching global survey of Art History and Asian Art are strongly encouraged to apply.
Faculty perform teaching, research and guidance duties in area (s) of expertise. They share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
M.A. degree in Art History is required for Adjunct Assistant Professor and the ability to teach successfully
Ph.D. degree is required for Art History for Adjunct Associate and Adjunct Professor and the ability to teach successfully
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in area (s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully
Preferred Qualifications: M.A. degree is required for Art History, and the ability to teach successfully
Professional experience and/or demonstrated mastery of relevant programs are required for all ranks and positions.
COMPENSATION
Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $98.40 per hour
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour
Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33 - $118.45 per hour
Adjunct Professor: $112.50 - $130.49 per hour
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
