FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Departmenty of Behavioral Sciences at Kingsborough Community College seeks candidates to teach undergraduate courses within the Education Program. The successful candidate will have completed significant coursework, research and/or professional experience in the area of Education with an emphasis on Special Education. The candidate must have teaching experience in a Pre-K- 6th grade Special Education role in NY DOE or a similar urban setting.
Vaccine Requirement:
Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment. All CUNY employees must reside within a commutable distance to their campus.
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree required, Ph.D. preferred.
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree required, Ph.D. preferred.
COMPENSATION
Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $98.40
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41
Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33 - $118.45
Adjunct Professor: $112.50 - $130.49
Salary commensurare with experience and qualifications.
