FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Allied Health, Mental Health and Human Services invites applications for part-time teaching positions at the Adjunct Lecturer, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Adjunct Associate and Adjunct Professor levels position. Candidates will teach undergraduate courses in the Polysomnographic Technology Program in various modalities.
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent clinical experience required.
Prior teaching experience in an academic setting; knowledge of and commitment to Associate Degree education.
Must have both RPSGT certification and NYS authorization as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
Master's Degree. Also required is the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
COMPENSATION
Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $98.40 per hour
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour
Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33 - $118.45 per hour
Adjunct Professor: $112.50 - $130.49 per hour
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
