FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Allied Health, Mental Health and Human Services invites applications for part-time teaching positions at the Adjunct Lecturer, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Adjunct Associate Professor and Adjunct Professor levels for the 2023-2024 academic year. Candidates will teach undergraduate courses in the Surgical Technology Program.
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Other Qualifications:
Graduate from CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology Program
NBSTSA Certification
Bachelor of Science in related field preferred
Clinical experience
Prior teaching experience in an academic setting; knowledge of and commitment to Associate Degree Surgical Technology Education and curriculum development
Evidence of scholarly activity or achievement preferred
Ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution
COMPENSATION
Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $98.40 per hour
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour
Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33 - $118.45 per hour
Adjunct Professor: $112.50 - $130.49 per hour
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
