City Tech is seeking candidates for Adjunct Lecturer and Adjunct Assistant Professor for the upcoming semester, to perform teaching and related duties in our School of Arts and Sciences. The vacancies are in the following Academic Departments:

Biological Sciences seeks faculty for general biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, genetics, and molecular and cell biology.

Chemistry seeks adjunct faculty for general chemistry and instrumental/analytical chemistry.

Mathematics seeks adjunct faculty for all levels particularly college algebra and trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, and discrete mathematics.

Physics seeks adjunct faculty for algebra-based physics and calculus-based physics.


For appointment as an Adjunct lecturer, a minimum of a bachelor's degree in the field is required (Master's preferred). For appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor, the Ph.D. or equivalent is required. For all levels, the ability to teach successfully is required.

Preference will be given to applicants with prior online teaching experience at the college level in the same discipline, using Blackboard or other online educational platforms.
