City Tech is seeking candidates for Adjunct Lecturer and Adjunct Assistant Professor for the upcoming semester, to perform teaching and related duties in our School of Professional Studies. The vacancies are in the following Academic Departments:


The Department of Health Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses within the Associate of Health Sciences degree.


The Human Services Department is interested in hiring part-time faculty who can teach curriculum in mental health, substance dependency, disabilities, gerontology, health-well being, counseling, community based internships, advocacy,research, grant writing and management.


The Department of Nursing is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in the following areas of Nursing: Fundamentals, Maternal-Child Nursing, Medical-Surgical, Mental Health, Leadership, and Community.


The Rad Tech department is interested in hiring adjunct faculty to teach in both the AAS and BS programs.


The Department of Restorative Dentistry is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in the following areas Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, and Implants incorporating CAD CAM technologies.



For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.

For Adjunct Lecturer:

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.


Health Sciences: Masters Level Academics in relevant degree, plus experience as health care operative with either clinical, administrative or health care safety experience.

Human Services: The ideal candidates have a masters in social work, human services, applied psychology, mental health counseling or related field, for at least 5 years. Teaching, presentations, leadership roles and familiarity with online instruction is expected.

Nursing: Registered Nursing license in NY State, Master's in Nursing, a minimum of 5 years clinical experience, and prior nursing education experience are preferred. Experience teaching online and hybrid teaching is recommended.

Radiologic Technology and Medical Imaging: The ideal candidate will be fully credentialed with ARRT and NYSDOH licensure, and should have familiarity with distance learning (hybrid/online). For BS courses, a strong background in MR and knowledge of CT are highly desirable. For AAS courses, the preferred candidates will have at least 3 years of professional experience.

Restorative Dentistry: Minimum of a bachelor's degree, five or more years of experience in a dental laboratory, and Certified Dental Technician certification. Teaching experience is recommended.
