CUNY Administrative Coordinator - Academic Affairs in Brooklyn, New York
Kingsborough Community College of the City University of New York is seeking an Administrative Coordinator who will report to the Dean of Academic Affairs or Designee.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with scheduling outside academic program evaluators for all departments as part of the annual Academic Program Review Process.
Process the reimbursements (travel, housing, food, etc.) for external academic program reviewers.
Coordinate walk-in student inquiries and schedules necessary appointments.
Coordinate office events for meetings and trainings.
Assist with online catalog review for accuracy and completeness.
Work with academic units to schedule courses and coordinate activities for Early College Initiatives
Support activities that facilitate Institutional Research Board (IRB)
Assist with coordinating activities related to typing, e-mailing and securing executed articulation agreements with 4-year senior CUNY institutions
Bachelor's Degree required.
- Knowledge of CUNYfirst preferred

Supports projects, initiatives, and activities that impact an academic or administrative department.
Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information.
Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections.
Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities.
Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
May supervise office staff and student workers.
Performs related duties as assigned.
