FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Nursing at Kingsborough Community College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level for the 2020-2021 academic year. Candidates will teach undergraduate courses in Nursing (Fundamental, Medical-Surgical, Psychiatric and Maternal-Child Nursing). Student advisement, committee participation and scholarly activity required.
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Prior teaching experience in an academic setting; knowledge of and commitment to Associate Degree Nursing Education and curriculum development.
Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
Licensed in New York State as a Registered Nursing (RN) with current registration, required.
$47,340 - $78,477. Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications.
