The Department of Health Sciences at City Tech offers both bachelor and associate of science degrees. The curriculum includes health safety, health dynamics, health services management, legal aspects of health care, health care financing and accounting, health care information systems, and health research methods. In addition to teaching, faculty members are expected to engage in research, proposal writing, program and curriculum development, recruitment, advisement and online teaching, as well as department, college, university, and community projects. Research with undergraduates is strongly encouraged.


The candidate must have a doctorate in Health Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or related clinical field. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years post master’s employment in the health care industry. Higher education teaching experience and evidence of publications and /or grant funding is preferred.
