The Administrative Coordinator will report to Associate Director for Marketing and Operations.
Assist in planning, preparing for, and executing Center’s workshops and events and large scale programs.
Collect data and evaluation to assess the effectiveness of Center’s programs and workshops; contribute to the creation of Center’s reports.
Coordinate opening and closing of the Starr Career Development Center. Coordinate front office operations.
Recruit, train and provide ongoing supervision/professional development for student interns working at the Center.
Coordinate Peers and Interns’ schedule, monitor and assess the need of student appointments throughout the semester.
Represent unit to internal and external organizations and vendors.
Create marketing materials, update Center’s handouts and materials and may develop content for website and weekly newsletters.
Maintain department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment.

Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information.

Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities.
Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
May supervise office staff and student workers.
Performs related duties as assigned.
