The Admissions Data Coordinator is a member of the Office of Admissions and will report to the Associate Director of Admissions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides data retrieval and management support to the Office of Admissions from recruitment through the registration process.

  • Develops queries using CUNYFirst to export Admissions data (stages of application, transfer credit evaluations, student records, etc.) into the College’s CRM system for timely communication.

  • Creates and maintains Panther VIP pages (through CRM) to guide students through the enrollment process.

  • Creates and develops email templates (mobile and desktop versions) to send to new/prospective students from recruitment through the registration process.

  • Serves as trainer, liaison, and troubleshooter for CRM software for the Office of Admissions.

  • Performs routine audits through CUNYFirst to ensuring data integrity as well as alerting Admissions managers to anomalous application and enrollment trends/activity.

  • Provides assistance with major college-wide events such as Open Houses, Commencement, Honors Convocation, orientation and registration.

  • Serves on college committees as required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Bachelor's Degree required.

A preferred candidate should have:

  • One to two years of experience in an administrative function performing similar duties.

  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects with follow up.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work evening and weekends, when necessary.


Coordinates efforts of admissions and/or enrollment offices.

  • Coordinates workshops, intake screenings, interviews and orientations for new students

  • Counsels prospective applicants on requirements and standards and provides general information on programs and services in person or by telephone, e-mail or letter; conducts follow up as needed

  • Assists in conducting open house sessions and orientations, including group sessions and programs at high schools and in the community at large

  • Assists with day-to-day administration and an admissions or enrollment office, including scheduling and preparing and distributing materials

  • Represents the Admission Office to the college's internal and external communities as directed

  • Maintains and updates program databases, lists and files to ensure completeness and accuracy

  • Performs related duties as assigned.
