CUNY Assistant, Associate or Full Professor - Law in New York, New York


Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

Faculty members are expected to conduct high quality scholarship and publish their work in prestigious academic law reviews. Faculty will teach a variety of basic and advanced business law courses. Other job responsibilities include new course development and service to the Department, School and College. Rank is dependent on qualifications.


Applicants must have a JD, LLM or SJD degree from an ABA accredited law school, an excellent academic record, and a demonstrated potential for outstanding scholarship and teaching in the area of business law. Applicants with a record of scholarly publication are strongly preferred. The Department is interested in expanding its expertise/offerings in the areas of corporate governance, risk management and/or regulatory compliance.
