FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York, is seeking applicants for one or two tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor positions in Economics in the Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance. The appointments will begin in the Fall semester of 2020.
The successful candidates will engage in high quality scholarly research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, mentor students (undergraduate, master's, Ph.D.), and share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field required. Demonstrated ability to conduct high quality scholarly research, teach successfully and cooperate with colleagues for the good of the institution.

*Pursuant to the New York City Health Benefits Summary Program Description, all City of New York employees, and employees of Participating Employers, hired on or after July 1, 2019, will only be eligible to enroll in the EmblemHealth HIP HMO Preferred Plan, and must remain in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan for the first 365 days of employment.
After 365 days of employment, the employee will have the option of either remaining in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan or selecting a different health plan within 30 days before the end of the 365 day period. If a new health plan is selected, the new plan will be effective on the 366th day.
An employee who needs to request an exemption to this requirement can do so by submitting an Opt-Out Request Form for review and approval. See below link for additional information.
