It offers nationally ranked undergraduate, part-time and full-time MBA programs, specialized masters, and doctoral programs. The Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics offers undergraduate majors and minors in Information Systems (IS) and in Statistics and Quantitative Modeling (SQM), four specialized MS degrees in IS, Business Analytics, Statistics, and Quantitative Methods and Modeling and a PhD in IS. Faculty members are active in research and have been published in the top journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, JMIS, and EJIS, among others. The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York is seeking applicants for a tenure track faculty position in Information Systems in the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics. Preference will be given to applicants with specializations in the area of cybersecurity. The position is available at the Assistant Professor level and begins in the Fall semester of 2020. The tenure-track faculty member will be expected to do the following: Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must either have or expect completion of Ph.D. in Information Systems or related fields. Applicants

should preferably, though not necessarily, be conducting research related to cybersecurity and

preferably be able to develop and teach courses in cybersecurity.

*Pursuant to the New York City Health Benefits Summary Program Description, all City of New York employees, and employees of Participating Employers, hired on or after July 1, 2019, will only be eligible to enroll in the EmblemHealth HIP HMO Preferred Plan, and must remain in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan for the first 365 days of employment.

After 365 days of employment, the employee will have the option of either remaining in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan or selecting a different health plan within 30 days before the end of the 365 day period. If a new health plan is selected, the new plan will be effective on the 366th day.

An employee who needs to request an exemption to this requirement can do so by submitting an Opt-Out Request Form for review and approval. See below link for additional information.
