POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations (DFCR), the Associate Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations (ADFCR) will be an essential member of the Foundation and Corporate Relations team. The ADFCR will partner with the DFCR to build philanthropic relationships and co-develop a comprehensive strategic and tactical plan to successfully identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, steward, and report on contributions from corporations, foundations, and government funders that advance the College’s mission, vision, values, and top priorities. The ADFCR will build a portfolio of local and national corporations, foundations, and government agencies that have the capacity, affinity, and inclination to support the College. The ADFCR willsecurenew opportunities, submit funding renewals, and curate engaging stewardship endeavors for corporate and foundation donors. Equally important, the ADFCR will serve as an internal subject matter expert on foundation and corporate relations throughout the organization and will regularly partner with members of other departments and units to identify fundraising opportunities, support the grant and/or gifts fulfillment process, and steward donors.
Specific responsibilitiesinclude:
Establishlong-termphilanthropicpartnershipsandstrengthenexistingphilanthropicrelationships;
In partnership with the Prospect Research team, build a robust prospect portfolio of corporations, foundations, and government entities with a minimum giving capacity of $100,000 to meet the College’s top priorities;
Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporations, foundations, and government funders that will result in transformational funding for critical programs, initiatives, and/or projects;
Manage the multi-faceted process of compelling proposals, letters of interest,impactreports,andother correspondencesand ensure exceptional final productsto foundation, corporate, and government funders;
Create a curated stewardship program for foundation, corporate, and government funders that includes engagement strategies,recognition, and/or events;
Remain well-versed with philanthropic trends andbest practices;
Partner with units and programs across campus to fuel the fundraising process and identify emerging fundingopportunities;
Meetindividualannual fundraising goals andtrack fundraising activity in Raiser’sEdge;
Until further notice, this is a hybrid position, eligible to work remotely and work in the office, and this position is based in New York, NY.
Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.
OTHERQUALIFICATIONS

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary commensurate with education and experience within the range of $82,928 - $90,375.
