POSITION DETAILS

The Division of Enrollment Management & Strategic Academic Initiatives is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and savvy professional to assist in the development and maintenance of communication initiatives geared towards prospective and current Baruch students. Reporting directly to the Manager of Enrollment Marketing and Strategic Academic lnititatives, the preferred candidate will expand the use of social networking, traditional marketing, and relationship management efforts to attract and retain students to the undergraduate programs at the college.

-Assist in the planning and implementation of multi-media communication campaigns

-Support major activities such as conferences, collaborative partnerships and educational programs to support identified needs and issues

-Maintain and update campus announcement screens, including creating imagery, scheduling/maintaining messaging, and responding to messaging requests

-Contribute to the development of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports tracking web site traffic, online listings, Google Analytics, and other reports as needed.

-Employ effective usage of a CRM system to communicate with prospective and admitted students

-Aid in data mining efforts obtaining information and statistics to identify and target select student populations for marketing campaigns

-Work with offices within Enrollment Management & Strategic Academic Initiatives and college wide to develop marketing content, including social networking features

-Contribute to the identification and integration of new technologies and content-delivery options (websites, text messaging, e-Newsletter, email campaigns, biogs and other interactive and social networking media)

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required.

Coordinates the design and production of publications, written materials, and multi-media communications.

  • Organizes publications and communications projects from inception through final stage in a variety of media

  • Prepares materials and creates graphic designs utilizing logos, templates and other graphic elements

  • Applies College-wide graphic and technical standards to insure quality and consistency of College identity

  • Assists in coordinating production in a variety of media and formats, both print and on-line

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$44,308 - $51,153; salary commensurate with education and experience.
