CUNY Executive Learning Program Specialist in New York, New York
Baruch College invites applications for the Executive Learning Program Specialist position. This position supports the Executive Director in all aspects of curriculum programs, corporate programs, workshops, specialized education programs, faculty recruitment, licensure programs, and student outreach and curriculum development.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Specialist will support the Executive Director in designing, developing, and updating courses and certificates to ensure that all programs offered are up to date with industry demands. In addition, the Specialist will work with the Executive Director in the development and content for all courses offered in certificate programs, courses and one/two day seminars, and webinars.
Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develops content for the Real Estate, Hotel and Hospitality and Luxury programs among others for the Class Catalog and keeps program content up-to-date on the website.
Works with the Executive Director to ensure that all State Licensed courses meet State standards and requirements. In addition, will be responsible for the submission of new and existing courses to be approved for CEU’s by the State.
Handles recruitment of instructors for various courses, workshops, and corporate programs.
Ensures that all instructors submit syllabi to CAPS in a timely fashion and comply with the Moodle platform.
Supports the Executive Director in the planning and execution of focus group sessions and coordinates open houses and job fairs with the Marketing and Enrollment Department.
Works with other departments on student and corporate outreach and advertisement for new and returning students.
Supports the Executive Director in special projects such as competitive pricing research and others.
Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of relevant experience in the adult education field are required; real estate experience preferred.
Experience must include academic planning and relationship development. The successful candidate will be a quick learner who is experienced with College and University policies, procedures, and systems. A strong customer service orientation and attention to details are essential, along with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to foster a cooperative/collaborative work environment, take initiative, use good judgment to make decisions, resolve problems diplomatically and discretely, and work effectively, both independently and cooperatively, with all levels of staff and constituents. Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities, work on multiple demands and projects, and meet deadlines.

Administers Continuing Education and related external programs, assisting with program design, marketing, operations, and evaluation.
Assists in developing programs and courses, analyzing course data and identifying opportunities for new and expanded course offerings
Develops related marketing strategies, policies, and procedures and disseminates them to students, teachers, and administrators.
Supervises operations such as registrar, bursar, data collection, and payment functions
Designs outreach materials, web sites, catalogues, and other marketing vehicles; conducts marketing events
Assists in the hiring and administration of program coordinators and instructors.
Assists in collecting and analyzing course evaluation and customer retention data.
Performs related duties as assigned.
