Baruch College invites applications for the Graduate Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator position in the Zicklin School of Business. Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admissions, the Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator is customer-facing, the central point-of-contact for visitors to the admissions office and coordinates daily office operations.

In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, duties include but are not limited to:

  • Fielding inquiries from prospective students and applicants via phone and e-mail.

  • Collecting and inputting data into CRM.

  • Processing mail; organizing and filing documents.

  • Supporting on- and off-campus recruitment efforts including event preparation, coordination, and implementation.

  • Assisting newly admitted students with the process of enrollment.

  • Generating new records in the CUNYfirst database for admitted students.

  • Liaising with other offices, including the Office of Graduate Programs and Graduate Career Management Center.


Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in an administrative function performing similar duties.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook


Coordinates efforts of admissions and/or enrollment offices.

  • Coordinates workshops, intake screenings, interviews and orientations for new students

  • Counsels prospective applicants on requirements and standards and provides general information on programs and services in person or by telephone, e-mail or letter; conducts follow up as needed

  • Assists in conducting open house sessions and orientations, including group sessions and programs at high schools and in the community at large

  • Assists with day-to-day administration and an admissions or enrollment office, including scheduling and preparing and distributing materials

  • Represents the Admission Office to the college's internal and external communities as directed

  • Maintains and updates program databases, lists and files to ensure completeness and accuracy

  • Performs related duties as assigned.
