CUNY SPS currently seeks candidates for a non-tenure track position at the rank of Lecturer (Doctoral Schedule) for the School's two online programs: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Psychology Program. This position reports to the Academic Director of Psychology Programs.

CUNY SPS currently seeks candidates for a non-tenure track position at the rank of Lecturer (Doctoral Schedule) for the School's two online programs: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Psychology Program. This position reports to the Academic Director of Psychology Programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The general responsibilities will include but are not limited to: teaching courses as assigned (including courses in Research Methodology), curriculum and program development, assessment, advisement and support of students, service to the program and School via participation on committees and in School governance, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Earned doctorate inPsychology;
Specialization via education, work experience, or research in one of the following areas, preferred, but not required: Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Educational Psychology, Health Psychology, or General Psychology;
An established record (and at least 5 years’ experience) of teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, including positive teaching evaluations;
Experience with online teaching and learning in highereducation;
Experience with curriculum and online coursedevelopment;
Experience with course and program level learning outcomesassessment;
Previous experience with thesis/capstone project oversight and/or advisement ormentoring;
Demonstrated ability to develop and foster partnerships with outside organizations and institutions for student internships, research opportunities, and other potential collaborations (e.g. degree completion opportunities for their employees).
Excellent communication and interpersonalskills;
Enthusiasm and demonstrated commitment toteaching;
Demonstrated commitment tocampus values ofdiversity, equity, andinclusion.
COMPENSATION

Salary commensurate with education and experience between $79,808 - $86,698.
