FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Allen G. Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business in the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York is seeking applicants for four Lecturer positions: two marketing lecturers with a wide teaching portfolio including advertising and strategy and two lecturers that can teach international business, international marketing and business fundamentals. Preference will also be given to applicants who demonstrate the ability to perform faculty-related administrative or other service work within the department. Research in the scholarship of teaching and learning, especially as it relates to the specific discipline, is encouraged (although not required). The positions begin in the fall semester of 2023. The Lecturer will be expected to perform teaching and related faculty functions in the area of Marketing and/or International Business. The lecturer will also be expected to participate in Baruch's "Inclusive Pedagogy" workshop and CUNY's "Innovative Teaching Academy".

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least a Master's degree (though preference will be given to applicants with PhD or DBA degrees in Marketing and/or International Business) and the ability to teach successfully. Candidate must be able to demonstrate effectiveness in teaching in at least two of the three modalities of in-person, hybrid, and online-only.
COMPENSATION
$83,764 - $98,309

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Health Plan Coverage for Employees Hired on or after October 1, 2022 City of New York employees and employees of Participating Employers and their eligible dependents hired on or after October 1, 2022 will only be eligible to enroll in the Emblem Health HIP HMO Preferred Plan and must remain in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan for the first year (365 days) of employment.
After 365 days of employment, the employee will have the option of either remaining in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan or selecting a different health plan within 30 days before the end of the 365th day period.
If a new health plan is selected, the new plan will be effective on the 366th day.
Only after the 365th day can the employee participate in any Annual Fall Transfer Period. An employee who needs to request an exemption from the required enrollment in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan can do so by submitting a HIP HMO Opt-Out Request Form to Emblem Health. An employee, or eligible dependent, must meet certain criteria and the request must be approved by Emblem Health before the exemption is granted.
