Guttman Community College is seeking an Enrollment Registrar Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Registrar Director, the Enrollment Registrar Coordinator will be responsible for providing key administrative support in the management of the office functions and schedule of classes in CUNYfirst.

The Enrollment Registrar Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate, review and post transfer rules equivalencies of Prior Learning courses from CUNY and non-CUNY schools to PeopleSoft student record system.

  • Assists with registration and the maintenance of student records.

  • Perform records-related activities, including adding and dropping classes, updating the course catalog, creating and updating enrollment requisites, etc.

  • Assist Master scheduler with management of the course catalog and data entry into CourseDog and address any issue or concerns from academic/faculty advisors, Deans, and student services coordinators.

  • Process readmissions applications and assist with the completion readmissions documents received from the electronic form system and all other sources.

  • Assist the Master Scriber with maintenance of the DegreeWorks and update exceptions.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining document management workflow, and training.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining quality control for all the Registrar’s documents (electronically or in paper)

  • Serve as a supporting role to the Graduation Specialists Team with the graduation processes.

  • Inform students of academic and administrative registration requirements.


  • Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.

  • Until further notice, this is a hybrid position, eligible to work remotely and work in the office.


Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferably candidate with two years of related experience in Transfer Evaluations, DegreeWorks Scribing and CourseDog.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft, DegreeWorks, Schedule Builder, and CourseDog.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint andOutlook

  • Detail oriented and accurate with strong organizational skills and ability to establish plans, manage multiple assignments with conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines in a time sensitive and student responsive office.

  • Strong communication competencies, especially in regards to writing, presenting, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and database skills


Provides operational support for registration operations.

  • Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements

  • Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures

  • Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas

  • Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories

  • Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

  • Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems

  • May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases

  • May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with education and experience up to 69,138.
