POSITION DETAILS
The Student Life Coordinator will report to the Student Housing Manager. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Student Life Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
Coordinates day-to-day operations for the residence life office and housing locations
Assists with the implementation of housing policies and regulations and responds to tenant concerns
Works collaboratively with staff in managing work orders and facilities concerns
Assists with all areas of marketing housing facilities to college students, faculty, and departments to ensure units are utilized to capacity
Coordinates and assists with recruiting, hiring, and training Resident Assistants
Conducts residence hall tours
Assists with the development of all communication tools to students residing in the residence hall
Prepares student/room conditioning/repair data reports and inventory
Assists with Summer Housing Operations
Option to reside in the residence hall (1BR Suite w/bathroom - Communal Kitchen)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Administration or related field
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, parents and staff members
Experience in Higher Education or related field
Vaccine Requirement
Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Assists with the management of student affairs facilities, such as acquiring equipment and arranging event logistics
May assume responsibility for one or more specific student programs
Performs related duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with education and experience, within approved range of position.
Salary range $43,520 - $48,960
