The Department of Family, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences at Queens College-CUNY announces a tenure-track position for an Assistant Professor in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, motor learning, or related areas, starting in Fall 2022. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate students majoring in exercise sciences and physical education; conduct research in exercise physiology, kinesiology and motor learning or related areas; establish an independent record of research and scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and funded research. Service on professional, department and/or college-wide committees is required.

Doctorate in exercise physiology, kinesiology, motor learning or related area required with a background in the study of human exercise responses or performance from a metabolic, cardiovascular, environmental, muscular, movement control, epidemiology and/or nutritional perspective preferred. Candidates, completing a doctoral degree by the time of appointment will receive consideration. Continuous record of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publication and/or funded research. Experience in college teaching and post-doctoral research is also preferred.
