The CUNY School of Law’s Office of Student Affairs seeks an Administrative ExecutiveCoordinator to joina team-orientedinnovativedivision that provides anintegrated,student-centered approach, as well as educational co-curricular activities that empowerstudentstoleadengagedsociallyresponsiblelives.Operatinginacommuter,urbanenvironment, CUNY Law students are affected by many external factors. This drives ustostrengthencommunicationandsupportwhileworkingasefficientlyaspossible,followingbestpracticesinthefieldofStudentAffairs.
Reporting directly to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs, the successful candidate willworkwithalllevelsoffaculty,administrativestaff,andstudents, aswellaswithexternalconstituencies.
Thispositionmayrequire occasionalweekendandeveningwork.
The position will include, but is not limited to the following:
Liaising with student, staff and faculty across the Law School on behalf of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs;
Directstudentstotheappropriateofficesandstaff;
Manages the Office of Student Affairs and Associate Dean for Student Affairscalendar(s);
Manages communication (e.g., written and verbal) for the Associate Dean forStudentAffairswithinternalandexternalcommunitystakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality;
Assists in coordinating agendas and programs of meetings and events, prepares minutes and provide necessary materials for meetings;
Brief Associate Dean for Student Affairs on status of all projects assigned to direct reports and others;
Coordinates and arranges conferences, meetings and events for the Student Affairs team, including travel arrangements;
Organizes, manages, and tracks written and email correspondences, maintaininglogsandrecordsoffollow-upactivities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have the following experience, knowledge, skills, andabilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), video conferencing platforms (WebEx, MS Teams and Zoom), Blackboard, AdobeCreative Cloud, and the ability to readily learn new computer software applications.platforms;
Experience performing executive administrative support functions in a diversestudent-centeredhighereducationinstitution;
Ability to workwithdiscretionandmaintainconfidentiality;
Beteam-orientedandgoal-orientedwiththeabilitytoworkindependently;
Highly resourceful, flexible, and well-organized, withstronganalyticalskills.
CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
Supports projects, initiatives, and activities that impact an academic or administrative department.
Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information.
Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections.
Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities.
Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
May supervise office staff and student workers.
Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$49,960 - $62,689
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
